Pears Property acquired Marlins House in Camberley as part of a larger portfolio acquisition. The look and feel of Marlins House was very tired and outdated and with competition from the other available space in the local area, it was decided to give the building a revamp alongside a name change and re brand to 459 London Road.
Working with our designers, Pears chose a clean, modern scheme in monotone shades. Old wood veneered door sets were given a new lease of life with black door frames and a white respray to the door with contemporary pictograms and black ironmongery installed to each. Bright, backlit acrylic signage and way finding was installed throughout which echoed the new feel to the space. Feature lighting was installed throughout with feature pendants at high level, Hacel emergency lighting to the stairs and new uplighting to the lobby walls.
To deal with external dirt and debris that is dragged in, the mat well was extended and the ceramic tiling replaced for an easier cleaned, grey wood effect luxury vinyl plank.
